How does Counselling work?
Counselling provides a safe, non-judgmental environment where you are able to discuss any matters or experiences which are causing you distress. The sessions allow you to explore problematic issues, and therefore better understand them whilst giving an insight into why you may feel a certain way.
We will begin with an intial meeting, and from here agree on the number of sessions required.
Is Counselling right for me?
Counselling is an effective therapy for a wide variety of issues. I am experienced in working in several specific areas of counselling, however an initial meeting is important and informative, allowing you to decide whether counselling and my approach is right for you.
How many sessions will I need, and on what time scale?
I understand that everyone's therapeutic needs differ, so during our first meeting we can establish a timescale which is right for you.
Is it Confidential?
All our work together is strictly confidential, however there are certain limitations which will be discussed fully during our first conversation.
How much does Counselling cost?
